On the day of arrival you can move into the house from 3 pm. Please Leave the cleaned house to the Zellhof team until 12 noon on the day of departure.
Please let us know in good time for which times you plan your arrival or departure. Your arrival is generally possible from 3 p.m. On the day of departure, please hand over your fully cleaned house or campsite until 12 noon to the Zellhof team. If available, earlier or later by arrangement.
If you would like to visit the Zellhof in advance or if an advance team would like to start setting up the camp earlier, please discuss this with the Zellhof team in advance. We will try to find a solution if possible.

There is a small parking lot at the Zellhof. Parking vehicles and using the parking lot is at your own risk. Campervans and caravans may not be parked in the parking lot.
Buses can only be parked to a very limited extent at Zellhof due to a lack of space. It is also often difficult to find an alternative parking space in the area. If necessary, please contact the Zellhof team. We will try to find a solution if possible.
The Zellhof Kiosk is the communication centre of the Zellhof. Whenever you need something, here you will find the Zellhof team who will be happy to help you. The kiosk is also a popular meeting place for leaders and young people to make new friends, for interesting conversations, noisy sing- a-longs or simply to hang out
The kiosk is open for you every day in the summer season:
from 8.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.,
from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and
from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
or by appointment in the low season.
At Zellhof, you can only pay in cash. The next ATM is in Mattsee.
In the kiosk you can borrow various materials for your camp. Such as a wheelbarrows, tables, benches, bricks and much more. Please don’t forget the white delivery note when you borrow or return something.
You can, after consultation with the team, sign up on the list on the grey pinboard, to make your reservation for program activities, such as RossstaII-HaII, the campfire area, canoes, bicycles, soccer field, etc.
Gas cylinders (7.5 kg) are available for purchase in the kiosk.
Brand stamps are also available in our kiosk.
Leaders can receive a code for WI-Fi access, free of charge, in the kiosk. Please note our terms of use for the Internet, which are described in the camp rules.
 
To charge mobile phones, you can use sockets at the Zellhof at your own risk. We can also supervise your equipment for a small fee.
You can post letters and postcards at our kiosk. Stamps and postcards are also available here. You can also pick up incoming mail at the kiosk.

The international Zellhof team consists of volunteer members of the scout movement, and will be happy to help you if you need anything. The team is (almost) always available for you in the kiosk
Zellhof T-shirts and Zellhof badges are available in the kiosk.
At Zellhof, each group organizes the catering for its members itself. All houses are equipped with a self-catering kitchen. There is the possibility to rent the campsite kitchen for camp residents.
From our neighbour, the Zellhof farmer, you can get fresh milk and butter every day. The Zellhof team will be happy to help you. Please settle accounts directly with the farmer before the end of your camp.
The Neuhofer bakery in Mattsee delivers fresh bread to the Zellhof in summer at 7:30a.m. Tuesday – Sunday. Orders by phone or directly at the bakery at the latest the evening before. Please settle the accounts directly with the baker before the end of your camp.
The butchers in Pewang and Obertrum have local specialties and offer special discounts to Zellhof groups.
For camp groups there is the possibility to rent a refrigerator.
Non-perishable food can be stored in our cool outdoor cellar — please label it with your group name. You are welcome to borrow lockable food boxes from us. Alcoholic beverages cannot be stored here.
The nearest supermarket is in Mattsee : 2 km
If you don’t have a car, you can rent a bike for shopping.
Camp residents can take drinking water centrally from the Rossstall. It is not possible to lay water hoses to the campsite.
Please respect the camp boundaries and respect the privacy of our neighbours. The pink house with garden next to the Zellhof church and the farm are no longer part of the Zellhof.
Of course, we behave appropriately in the Zellhof Church. Please don’t ring the bell! Masses are possible in the Zellhof Church by arrangement with the Zellhof team or the sacristan.
Please do not bring alcohol! Soft drinks, beer and wine are available at the kiosk. Hard drinks such as schnapps etc. are not allowed at the Zellhof.
Please note the storm warning light on the Waschhaus building. In the event of a storm warning, please immediately stop all water activities at the lake and take appropriate precautions at your campsite.

In the event that a building has to be evacuated, the football field has been designated as the assembly point.
You can find the defibrillator on the ground floor of the Herrenhaus next to the door to the church.
Camp quiet times are from midnight. to 7 a.m.
Dogs are not allowed at Pfadfinderdorf Zellhof .
Electronic music may only be played so loudly that it cannot be heard outside the tent or room. Please do not use electronic music for your program, which may be perceived as disturbing by other groups.
The Flachgau is located in a TBE risk area. TBE is a viral infection that is transmitted by ticks. Therefore, a tick vaccination is recommended for all camp participants.
Each group is responsible for the safety and supervision of its cooking fires, campfires and gas stoves and must have their own extinguishing agents (fire blanket, fire extinguisher, bucket of water, etc.) ready for emergencies.
Each group is responsible for the safety of its campsite constructions, the testing of the material used (wooden poles, etc.) and the dismantling.
Any damage must be paid for by the perpetrators or the group. Please report any damage to us immediately so that we can arrange for a repair.
Pfadfinderdorf Zellhof is a place where international encounters are easily made. At the camp leaders’ meeting (Mondays at 9 p.m.), joint activities of interested groups can be discussed and prepared. Wednesday has proven to be the main day of action. The Zellhof team will be happy to support you.
Every Wednesday we organize a “Day of Open Pots” – each group that wants to participate brings its food to the village square – with a plate and a spoon we taste our way through; Often the evening ends with an international campfire.
The hall at the Rossstall is available to all groups for a program in case of bad weather. You can reserve parts of the hall for special program items in the kiosk after consultation with the team. Please discuss with the Zellhof team if you would like to sleep there.
During the summer months, scouts from many countries meet at the Zellhof for the summer camp. The friendship badge makes it easier to get to know each other and is often the beginning of international friendships. You can get more information at the kiosk.
The network of cycle paths in the Trumer Lake District is well developed and also leads directly past the Zellhof. We have more than 40 bicycles that you are welcome to rent. Bicycle helmets are sufficiently available and mandatory. Our bikes have no lighting. More information is available at the kiosk. Bicycles can be reserved in advance, or on site after arrival – depending on weather and availability
For canoeing, the best place to go is to use the neighbouring Mattsee and the connected Obertrumer See. We have our own canoe park in the center of Mattsee and can rent out nine canoes for a total of 36 people. Life jackets are mandatory. Please note our canoe rules. More information in the kiosk. Canoes can be reserved in advance, or on site after arrival – depending on weather and availability
Pfadfinderdorf Zellhof has received an exemption from the state of Salzburg for its own boats in the nature reserve at Grabensee. You are welcome to rent our rowing boats. More information is available in the kiosk. Life jackets are provided. Please also note our boat rules.
Water activities are permitted from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Each group must provide competent adult lifeguards for their swimmers. Please also note our bathing rules. They are available under www.zellhof.at and attached to the boathouse. Please do not take a glass into the swimming area because of the risk of injury. The use of the swimming area is at your own risk.
The volleyball court can be used by all camp participants. You can borrow balls free of charge in the kiosk against a deposit.
You are welcome to use our soccer field together with other camp participants at any time. You can borrow balls free of charge, against a deposit, in the kiosk.
Table tennis can be played in the Rossstalhalle. Balls and rackets are available free of charge for a deposit in the kiosk.
You can use the Zellhof forest for activities. Please stay on the paths and do not go into the forest during dawn and dusk, so that our game can graze in peace. The forest and meadow south of the country road, between Zellhof and Obertrumer See, are strictly nature reserves and may therefore not be entered.
Please always stay on the paths when hiking outside the camp grounds and do not walk through the tall grass, as farmers need the grass as animal feed.

Please keep the houses, and your campsite tidy during your stay and hand them over to the Zellhof team in a cleaned condition before departure.
The communal areas such as toilets, showers, grounds, etc. are cleaned by the groups each day on a rota System, please bring Your Own cleaning liquids. It is cleaned at least twice a day at 10 a.m. and at 10 p.m., if necessary correspondingly more often. The cleaning schedule in the kiosk shows which group have cleaning duty. Upon arrival, we will enter you into the cleaning schedule – according to your program – and when it suits you.
For the hot water showers in the washhouse you need coins at EUR 0.50.
A recycling station Can be found next to the Zellhof kiosk. Please separate out all rubbish at your own campsite and avoid unnecessary packaging. Please dispose of your rubbish only with the support of a Zellhof teamer.
 
The following substances are collected separately at the Zellhof and should not end up in the residual waste: PET bottles, packaging, cans, scrap iron, large cardboard boxes, newspapers, white glass, coloured glass, cooking oil, batteries, food scraps.
You are welcome to use our laundrette in the Herrenhouse to do small amounts of laundry or dry sleeping bags. More information and prices in the kiosk.
The Scouts and Girl Scouts of Austria (PPÖ) are actively committed to environmental and nature conservation, which is firmly anchored in one of the Scout Laws: “A Scout lives simply and protects nature.”
 
Zellhof is located in a natural environment that is particularly worthy of protection, at the Grabensee, which is part of the Trumer Seen nature preserve. We are grateful to be able to be in a nature reserve. As scouts, we want to be considerate of our nature and teach our children and young people a conscious approach to the environment. Therefore, we also observe special rules for the campsite site.
In 2013, Pfadfinderdorf Zellhof was awarded the international certificate “SCENES” (Scout Center of Excellence Nature and Environment) by WOSM. Worldwide, around 20 scout centres have been added to the SCENES network so far. The SCENES certificate is awarded only to scout centres that are located in a protected natural area, offer training and programmes on the subject of environmental protection and nature, and pay special attention to ecology and the environment in the management of the centre. The SCENES network is also an essential part of the WOSM environmental program. Information about the environmental activities and program possibilities at the Zellhof and about the SCENES network can be obtained from the Zellhof team in the kiosk.
You can use the Zellhof Forest for activities. Please stay on the paths and do not go into the forest during dawn and dusk, so that the game can graze in peace. The forest and meadow south of the main road are nature reserves and out of bounds. Please always stay on the paths when hiking or playing outside the camp grounds, do not walk through the tall grass, as farmers need the grass for food.

The use of the boats and the swimming area is at your own risk. Each group must provide a competent, adult lifeguard for its swimmers. Water activities are only permitted from 7°° to 20°°.
Surfboards, boats and rafts are not allowed at Grabensee. Please pay attention to the storm warning light on the washhouse.

The Zellhof is located in the middle of a nature preserve. Please do not make sump pits and no drainage canals (dams are a better option)
Fireplaces must either be built high off the ground or on earth heaped to a height of at least 20 cm. Each group is responsible for safety and supervision of its cooking fires, camp fires and gas stoves, and must have an extinguisher (fire blanket, fire extinguisher, bucket of water etc.) provided by themselves ready in case of emergencies.
Eating and drinking is only allowed on the ground floor of the self-catering houses.
Smoking is not permitted in our self-catering houses out of consideration for children and young people.
Dishes and saucepans for the self-catering kitchen can be borrowed at the kiosk. Please don’t forget the white delivery note when you borrow or bring something back.
Do not carry tables, benches or chairs from the house outside! If you need tables and benches for outside, we will be happy to provide them for you.
Our beds are equipped with mattresses and mattress protectors. Additional sheets are required by law for hygienic reasons and, you must bring your own, just like your own sleeping bag. Sheets, blankets, pillows, and pillowcases can be borrowed at an additional cost.
Energy Is calculated according to consumption — saving pays off!
Please let us know the actual number of participants in your group as soon as possible, at least 2 to 3 weeks before your arrival.
Each camp leader fills out an electronic registration form for his group on the day of arrival and the group registration in the kiosk. For this purpose, the group must provide a list of names and the year of birth of all camp participants.
Please make room for the Zellhof campsite tour, at the start of your camp, with an experienced Zellhof teamer. You will receive important information about the campsite and we will show you where everything can be found.
Every Monday in July and August, the camp leaders of all groups meet at 9 pm. to discuss joint activities or other current topics. The meeting point is at the kiosk.
At the beginning of your camp you will receive a white delivery note/Lieferschein at the kiosk. You will need this white delivery note if you borrow or return material such as wheelbarrows, tables and benches, etc.
Please pay your camp fee in cash before departure. Card payment is not possible. You are welcome to pay the remaining amount by bank transfer.
Before the start of the season, we may send out a contact list of all scout groups that camp at the Zellhof in the same week, to those groups who wish to do so. This is to enable you get in touch with each other in advance and maybe organize something together. If you want to be on the contact list – please send information to zellhof@zellhof.at.

Pole wood is available in many different lengths from the flying roof or on the village square. Please do not cut or notch the poles and make sure that they are put back in the right order.
 
Slabwood/Schwartlings can be used for building or campfires and may be cut up.
 
The chopped firewood in the left box of the flying roof is intended for cooking fires and heating fires in yurts. For campfires, please use the branches and slabwood provided. The chopped firewood next to the recycling Centre is needed for the winter.

At the end of the parking lot you will find soil for your fireplace. Please make sure that only pure soil is placed on this pile when you are clearing your site. Earth mixed with ashes, should go to the ash pile.
Please put the cold ash on the ash pile at the end of the parking lot.
Bricks for building fireplaces can be obtained in the kiosk with the white delivery note.
Pfadfinderdorf Zellhof is located in the middle of a nature preserve. Water ditches or sump pits are not permitted. Dams are a better option. For high constructions and flagpoles, small holes are of course possible, but please fill it up well with soil afterwards.
The laying of power cables to the campsite or the operation of power generators is not possible.

Please bring your own camp equipment and cookware. Bricks, soil, construction wood, firewood is available. Barbecue grate and fire bowl can be borrowed.
